Full Moon Book Club

Nourish your body, mind, and spirit in a monthly full moon ritual with your San Diego sisters. Grab your cup and join us for tea as we build community through thoughtfully guided discussion, and then join together for a yoga flow and guided meditation designed to deepen understanding of and personal connections to the book's themes. Each book is hand-picked to spark conversation and critical thought around empowering and complex feminine topics. All women and femme folk welcome! The discussion will be based on the book's themes, so no need complete the book in advance to fully participate :)

All meetings will take place in person in San Diego and include a one-hour discussion on the book, followed by a one-hour guided gentle yoga flow. We encourage you to dress in layers, as it may get chilly. All sessions are facilitated by Randall, a certified yoga instructor and local community college professor who holds a PhD in mythology and depth psychology. Find us at Bird Park by entering on 28th and Thorn, near the swings.

You bring: your cup, yoga mat, and journal.

September's book is When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill, a fiery feminist fantasy tale set in 1950s America where thousands of women have spontaneously transformed into dragons, exploding notions of a woman’s place in the world and expanding minds about accepting others for who they really are.
