Service Description
Take a journey around the world through story and song! In this after-school program for students from Albert Einstein Academy Elementary School, participants will work with teachers in English, German, and Spanish. Each teacher will introduce different instruments, props, art techniques, games, and movement styles to learn stories from around the globe. Our small group setting welcomes a maximum of 8 children per teacher. Each session focuses on a seasonal topic and incorporates themed stories, songs, yoga, dance, crafts, and games in English, German, and Spanish. Our second Fall session runs weekly on Thursdays from 7 November- 19 December and our theme is Arctic Adventures! Please note that this is a 6-week session and we will not meet on Thanksgiving, 11/28. A teacher will meet AEA students at their pickup time and location and walk them to the park; parent pickup at 5:30pm at Golden Hill Rec Center. Students will rotate between English, German, and Spanish activities. See the teacher profiles in the photo gallery below! Cancellation Policy
